Our story

Copper doesn't cut corners. Neither do we.

We named the company after the material old-timers still swear by — not because we're stuck in the past, but because some standards shouldn't bend.

Heritage

Two generations of getting it right the first time

Copperline started the way a lot of good trade businesses do: one van, one master plumber, and a reputation that spread over back fences. The founder's rule was written on the dashboard of that first van — "treat every house like your mother lives there" — and it's still the first thing new hires learn, before they touch a wrench.

Today we run a small fleet across Fairview, but we've deliberately stayed small enough that a master plumber reviews every job ticket, every quote, and every callback. Growth that costs you craftsmanship isn't growth we want.

The name? Old plumbers call a properly sweated copper joint "honest work you can see." We liked that. It's the line we hold.

What we stand on

Four values, zero exceptions

Price before work

You will never learn the cost of a Copperline job after it's done. One written flat rate, approved by you, before we start.

Craft over speed

We'd rather do it once, properly, than twice quickly. Every joint pressure-tested, every install to code, no shortcuts unseen behind drywall.

Respect for the home

Drop cloths, shoe covers, daily tidy-ups on multi-day jobs. We leave rooms cleaner than we found them — it's on the checklist.

Stand behind it

Two years on workmanship, in writing, transferable if you sell the house. If our work fails, we come back free — no argument.

Credentials

Licensed. Insured. Verifiable.

Ask any plumber for these before they touch your pipes. We volunteer ours.

  • State Master Plumber License #MP-04417 — held by our founding master plumber; renewed and audited annually. (Illustrative for this demonstration.)
  • $2,000,000 general liability and full workers' compensation coverage — certificates of insurance provided on request before any job.
  • Bonded for your protection — and every technician is background-checked and drug-screened before wearing the Copperline patch.
  • Permits pulled, always — water heaters, repipes, and gas work are permitted and city-inspected. If a contractor offers to "skip the permit," show them the door.

The crew

The people behind the vans

Small crew, long tenures. You'll likely see the same faces on your second call as your first.

Ray Calloway

Founder · Master Plumber

Thirty years on the tools. Still takes the 2 a.m. burst-pipe calls himself when he's on rotation.

Marisol Calloway

Operations · Co-owner

Runs dispatch, scheduling, and the flat-rate book. If your arrival window was accurate, thank Marisol.

Dele Okafor

Lead Technician

Our repipe specialist. Homeowners ask for him by name — usually because their neighbor did first.

June Tran

Service Plumber

Leak-detection lead and the calm voice you'll hear on most overnight emergency calls.

Off the clock you'll find us sponsoring the Fairview youth trades program — because the next generation of honest plumbers has to come from somewhere.
