About Brightwire
Built by an electrician who hated callbacks.
Brightwire started with a simple irritation: too much of the trade runs on "close enough." We built a company where the torque wrench, the label maker and the load calculation are non-negotiable.
Our story
Sixteen years of doing it the slow, correct way.
Marcus Hale spent his first decade in the trade fixing other contractors' shortcuts — back-stabbed receptacles, double-tapped breakers, junction boxes buried behind drywall. In 2010 he opened Brightwire with one crew, one van and a rule that still governs every job: if it wouldn't pass an inspection tomorrow, it doesn't get closed up today.
Today Brightwire runs four crews across greater Fairview, handles everything from single-switch swaps to full commercial fit-outs, and stocks a curated shop of the exact hardware our electricians install in their own homes. The label maker still rides in every van.
Values
What "precision" means here.
Measure first
Every quote starts with a load calculation and a panel photo — never a guess from the driveway.
Document everything
Labeled panels, torque logs, photos before the wall closes. Your next electrician will thank ours.
No surprise line items
Fixed quotes, honored. If we misjudged the scope, that's our tuition — not your change order.
Certifications & coverage
Paperwork you can verify.
