Most agencies split the work: one team makes it look good, another makes it function, and the seams show. NorthPilot.ai is built the other way round - the person designing the interface is the person architecting the database behind it.
In practice that means the front end is Next.js and TypeScript with motion that feels considered rather than bolted on, and the back end is real engineering: Python and FastAPI, Postgres, authentication, row-level security, and integrations that hold up under actual use. Marketing site or multi-tenant application, it is the same hands.

How a project runs
No mystery, no disappearing for three weeks. Here is the shape of a typical engagement.
Step 1: Conversation
A short call to understand the business, not just the brief. What the site needs to achieve, who it is for, and what is currently getting in the way.
Step 2: Proposal
A written scope with a fixed price and a timeline. You see exactly what is included before anything is committed to.
Step 3: Design
Direction first, then screens. You review and approve before a line of production code is written, so surprises happen on a mockup rather than a deadline.
Step 4: Build
Development against the approved design, with progress visible in your client portal the whole way through. Questions get answered in a day, not a week.
Step 5: Launch and after
Testing, performance and accessibility checks, then launch. You own the site outright. Ongoing care is available but never required.
